Delete your FoodXpress Merchant account
This page explains how merchants can request permanent deletion of their FoodXpress Merchant account and the data associated with it.
How to request deletion
- Email us from the address registered to your FoodXpress Merchant account.
- Use the subject line FoodXpress Merchant Account Deletion Request.
- Include your business name, registered email address, and phone number so we can verify account ownership.
If you no longer have access to your registered email address, contact us at the same address and provide enough account information for us to verify ownership securely.
What happens next
We may contact you to verify your identity and account ownership. After verification, we will begin the deletion process. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or regulatory reasons.
Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, you will lose access to the merchant account and it cannot be restored.
Data that will be deleted
- Your merchant account and sign-in credentials
- Contact information linked to the account
- Business profile and merchant settings
- Menu content and uploaded food images that are no longer required
- Device and push-notification identifiers linked to the account
Data that may be retained
We may retain limited transaction, order, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance records when required by applicable law or for legitimate business obligations.
Retained records are restricted to those purposes and are deleted or anonymised when the applicable retention obligation ends.
Deleting selected data only
FoodXpress Merchant does not currently offer a separate process for deleting selected account data while keeping the account active. You may request full account and associated-data deletion using the steps above.
